What is CBD?
CBD stands for “Cannabidiol” and is a chemical compound found in the cannabis sativa plant. CBD is non-psychoactive and is not associated with the “euphoric high” of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) that is commonly found in higher concentrations within marijuana products.
What is full-spectrum CBD?
Full-spectrum CBD contains numerous cannabinoid compounds from the cannabis plant as well as low levels of THC (typically less than 0.3%). This low percentage of THC content ensures a non-psychoactive experience.
Full-Spectrum vs Broad Spectrum vs CBD Isolate
Full-Spectrum CBD: contains all components of the cannabis sativa plant including trace amounts of THC.
Broad Spectrum CBD: contains all components of the cannabis sativa plant except for THC.
CBD Isolate: Manipulated to contain only the CBD compound.
Cannabis vs Hemp vs Marijuana
You’ve probably heard these three terms before, and it may have caused some confusion. Here’s how they all relate to one another. Cannabis sativa has two primary species, hemp, and marijuana. Hemp contains higher percentages of CBD and has very low levels of THC. Marijuana typically has higher levels of THC and is used primarily for its psychoactive properties.

Cannabinoids: Naturally occurring compounds found in the Cannabis sativa plant. The most well-known among these compounds are CBD and THC.
Terpenes: Responsible for the aromas, flavors, and even colors associated with various types of plants. In cannabis, terpenes can make different strains smell or taste different.
Flavonoids: Natural compounds found in many fruits and vegetables.

How do you use Good Stems products?
After cleansing, massage 4-5 drops into face and neck, both morning and night. Mix & layer with your favorite skincare products or use alone. Treat your skin daily for best results. For external use only.
Can I mix Good Stems products with my other skincare products?
Yes. We designed our products to be simple yet effective. Feel free to mix or layer our products within your current self-care routine until you find the best ratio.
How much hemp is in each product?
All Good Stems products contain 300mg of Full-Spectrum hemp CBD.
Are all Good Stems ingredients USDA organic?
Yes. We have gone the extra mile to ensure that all of our ingredients are certified USDA organic and follow sustainable farming practices for a happier planet.
Are Good Stems products tested on animals?
No. We never test or partner with others who test their products on animals. We are proud to say that we are PETA certified Cruelty Free & Vegan.
Are Good Stems products vegan?
Yes. All of our ingredients are USDA organic and vegan. We are also proud to be officially PETA certified Cruelty Free & Vegan.
Do you source your ingredients sustainably?
Absolutely! All ingredients in our products are certified USDA organic which requires a quality standard throughout the farming process to ensure sustainable practices.
Where are your products made and where do you source your hemp?
All Good Stems products are manufactured in the USA and our Full-Spectrum CBD is produced organically in sunny Colorado.
How is your Full-Spectrum CBD Extracted?
Our Full-Spectrum CBD is extracted using organic ethanol in a CGMP compliant and FDA registered facility. This allows us to holistically capture the complete spectrum of active components while leaving behind undesirable elements.
What quality testing do you perform on your products?
All Good Stems products are run through a variety of third-party lab tests to verify safety and quality standards in the following categories:

Do your products contain THC?
Yes. All Good Stems products contain less than 0.3% THC and are derived from hemp. Our products are not derived from marijuana.
How old do you need to be to use Good Stems products?
All customers must be 18 years of age or older to use Good Stems products.
Do your products expire?
Yes. The average shelf life for our products is 2 years but we suggest using within the first 6-12 months of your purchase for the best results. All products will have an expiration date applied to the box so that you know when it has officially expired.
Are your products FDA approved?
No. All Good Stems products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If pregnant or nursing, please consult with your doctor prior to use.
Is your packaging recyclable?
All of the forest-based products in our packaging are recyclable and FSC® certified. Our glass bottle, pipette, and plastic collar are 100% recyclable, however, the rubber bulb may or may not be recyclable in your region. Always consult your local city’s guidelines for information on how to recycle mixed materials.
Do the facial oils have a scent?
Our facial oils contain a natural, earthy scent due to the cannabis content. The scent dissipates quickly upon application. There is no artificial fragrance in any of our products.
Orders, Shipping & Returns
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Shipping typically takes 3-8 business days from the time that you place your order online.
Do you offer rushed shipping?
We do not offer rushed shipping because of the excess carbon emissions it can create as this requires more fuel when not following existing postal routes.
Do you offer free shipping?
All Good Stems purchases qualify for free U.S. ground shipping. We use ground shipping to reduce our environmental footprint.
Can I cancel my order once it’s been placed?
We pack and ship orders within hours of your order to ensure a timely shipment to your door. For this reason, once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or changed.
What is Bankful and why is it needed at checkout?
Bankful is an encrypted payment processor that is required for the online sale of CBD products. CBD is still considered a "high-risk industry" that has strict regulations that all online retailers must follow. Bankful offers a safe and secure way to process CBD transactions while keeping brands compliant.
What is your refund policy?
If you are not satisfied with your Good Stems product, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of your purchase and include your name, order number, and reason for your requested refund.
My USPS tracking number is not updating. When will my products arrive?
USPS can, unfortunately, be sometimes inconsistent with the timeliness of their tracking number updates due to the high volume of packages that they are delivering. That being said, if you have not received your products after 10 business days, please email us at email@example.com and we can investigate further to ensure all is well.
My order stopped tracking but hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
We’re so sorry to hear about this! Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org along with your first and last name and order number so we can investigate this issue for you right away.
How do I change my shipping address?
If your order is already processed, please send us an email at email@example.com as soon as possible with the subject line “URGENT: Incorrect Shipping Address” and we will make sure your order gets to you!
My order arrived broken or damaged, what do I do?
So sorry to hear! We take extra precautions with our packaging to avoid this, but this can sometimes happen when shipping glass. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Damaged Shipping” along with your first and last name, order number, and a photo of the broken product and we will send you a new one :)
My product's dropper bulb is discolored. How does this happen?
During shipment, our products may be angled upside down which can cause our oils to remain in constant contact with the rubber bulb. This contact can lead to minor discoloration of the bulb, but rest assured, your product is sealed and safe for use.
